Cybersecurity & digital forensics

Ensuring data protection, threat mitigation and security compliance with cutting-edge cybersecurity frameworks — for institutions where a breach is a public safety problem, not a press release.

Security is the practice CyberEdge was founded on. Our examiners have built forensic laboratories for federal investigators, our testers work under signed rules of engagement, and our analysts hold CISA, CISM, CRISC, CEH and CISSP. Everything below is delivered by our own staff.

Capabilities

What the practice covers

Ten service lines spanning prevention, detection, response and evidence — engaged individually or as a managed programme.

Threat Intelligence & Risk Assessment

Identifying cyber risks and vulnerabilities across your IT environment, mapped to the threats that actually target your sector rather than a generic catalogue.

Penetration Testing & Ethical Hacking

Simulating cyberattacks to test security defences across web, mobile, network and wireless estates — with reproducible evidence and a remediation plan your team can execute.

Zero-Trust Security Architecture

Implementing multi-layered security frameworks to prevent unauthorised access, replacing perimeter assumptions with continuous verification.

Incident Response & Digital Forensics

Rapid containment of security incidents, forensic investigation and evidence preservation with defensible chain of custody.

Network Security & Firewall Implementation

Intrusion detection and prevention for enterprise networks, including segmentation, hardening and rule-set review.

Cybersecurity Compliance & Auditing

Ensuring adherence to ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS and NIST frameworks, with gap analysis and evidence packs for auditors.

Red Team & Blue Team Training

Practical offensive and defensive cybersecurity operations training delivered to your own staff on your own systems.

Cyber Risk Quantification

Assessing the financial impact of security risks so the board sees exposure in rupees, not in severity colours.

Third-Party Risk Management

Assessing security risk introduced by vendors, contractors and integration partners across your supply chain.

Deliverables

What you actually receive

No engagement ends with a slide deck. Every cybersecurity assignment produces artefacts your team, your auditor and your minister can use.

  • Executive summary written for non-technical decision-makers
  • Technical findings with reproducible evidence and CVSS-rated severity
  • Prioritised remediation roadmap with effort estimates
  • Free re-test of remediated findings inside the engagement window
  • Hardening standards and SOPs your team can maintain after we leave
  • Incident response runbook tailored to your escalation structure

Questions

Common questions

Do you need our production systems to run a penetration test?
No. Testing runs under a signed rules-of-engagement document that defines scope, timing, exclusions and an emergency stop contact. Where a production test is too risky we test a staging replica and review the delta in configuration.
Can your forensic reports be used in court?
That is the point of them. We maintain documented chain of custody from acquisition through analysis, use licensed and validated tooling, and produce examination reports in a form suitable for legal proceedings. Our examiners can attend as expert witnesses.
What happens if you find something critical mid-engagement?
We stop and call you the same day. Critical findings are reported immediately under an out-of-band escalation path agreed at kick-off, not held back for the final report.
Do you handle classified or sensitive environments?
Yes. Our ISO 27001 information security management system governs personnel vetting, data handling and access control. Engineers on law-enforcement work operate under NDA and, where required, client-issued security clearance.

Concerned about a specific exposure?

Describe the environment and the worry. You will get a named engineer and an honest view of whether you need a test, a review, or nothing at all.
