Software development

Custom web, mobile and enterprise applications engineered to your workflow — built by full-stack engineers who have shipped systems into live government departments.

Departmental software fails when it is built for a specification instead of for the clerk who has to use it forty times a day. We spend time in the office before we write the schema, and we design for the awkward real-world cases the specification never mentions.

Capabilities

Development capabilities

Enterprise-grade applications and ERP systems, delivered by software engineers and full-stack developers with MS Computer Science backgrounds.

Custom Web Applications

Bespoke platforms built around your workflow — role-based access, complete audit trail and reporting designed for the person who signs off.

Mobile Applications

Android and iOS applications for field data capture, tracking and citizen-facing services, designed for intermittent connectivity.

Enterprise Systems Development

Large multi-module platforms such as dealer management, complaint management and fuel management, integrated with existing records.

E-Governance Platforms

Digital correspondence, file movement, approval workflow and paperless administrative processes for public sector departments.

API Development & Integration

Connecting new systems to the databases, devices and legacy applications you already run, rather than replacing everything at once.

Database Design & Migration

Schema design, data cleansing and migration from spreadsheets, paper registers and superseded systems.

Application Modernisation

Rebuilding or re-platforming ageing applications while keeping the institutional knowledge embedded in them.

Quality Assurance & Testing

Structured UAT, regression testing and security review before anything reaches a live department.

Maintenance & Support

Post-deployment support, enhancement releases and annual maintenance contracts for the life of the system.

Deliverables

How we build

Fixed-scope delivery with a named project manager, milestone plan and acceptance criteria agreed before kick-off. Weekly written status, no surprises at UAT.

  • Requirements document signed off before development starts
  • Milestone-based delivery plan with dated acceptance gates
  • Weekly written progress reports, not verbal reassurance
  • Data migration with reconciliation evidence
  • User acceptance testing with your actual staff, on real cases
  • Source code and full technical documentation delivered to you
  • Role-based training and plain-language user manuals
  • Warranty period followed by an optional maintenance contract

Questions

Common questions

Who owns the software you build for us?
You own the delivered application and its data. Source code escrow or full source handover is available and is stated explicitly in the contract. Third-party licensed components remain under their own licence terms.
Can you integrate with our existing systems?
Usually yes. We build APIs against what you already run rather than demanding a clean slate. Where a legacy system has no integration surface, we work at the database or file-exchange level and document the coupling honestly.
What if requirements change mid-project?
They always do. Changes go through a written change request with an impact assessment on scope, cost and date. Small clarifications are absorbed; genuine scope additions are priced before work starts, never after.
Can you take over an abandoned project?
Yes, and we have. We audit the existing codebase and data, give you a written assessment of what is salvageable, and quote only the remediation actually required.
Live demonstrations

Working demonstrations of departmental software

Rather than describe a workflow system, here are six you can sign into. Every one has records, forms, reports and role-based access.

Sign in with admin@demo.local / demo1234. Demonstration builds on synthetic data — nothing is transmitted or stored.

Have a workflow that still runs on paper?

Describe the process and who touches it. We will map it and tell you what a first working version would cost.
